Set the Right New Year’s Resolutions
Will this year be the ‘same old, same old’ or are you ready to make some positive changes in your life?
If you’re like me, you start out each year with New Year’s resolutions and good intentions, however, by the first few months you see that life has taken over and those good intentions have been pushed aside.
So, it’s time to start now.
Let go and live life.
Anytime is a good ti
me to bring some positive changes into your life. However, to me, you can’t really successfully make changes until you LET GO of the past, ACCEPT YOURSELF for the beautiful person you are and commit to start LIVING LIFE.
Life is too short, we hear that so often but do we really listen or is it just another platitude? Did you know that the word ‘platitude’ means:
a remark or statement, especially one with a moral content, that has been used too often to be interesting or thoughtful.
3 Easy Steps to Start Living Your Life
1. Leave the Past Behind and make a Life Plan
Do you dwell on the past? You can’t change what has been but you can plan a future. Time to start looking forward and leaving the past in the past. Making a life plan is a great way to start living positively and with a purpose.
2. Accept who you are.
If you don’t like that person, take steps to be a better version of YOU.
Look in the mirror and actually ‘see’ the gorgeous woman who is you. I’m not talking about your physical appearance but your soul. Are you a beautiful soul? Could you be better? A caring, loving soul will always be beautiful and bring joy to others and in return to themselves.
3. Start Living
Stop wishing, the self-pity and complaining. Start living and enjoy the life you are so fortunate to have. Be grateful and develop a habit of thankfulness. Life is there to be lived and being a ‘negative Nelly’ is a waste of time and energy.
Time to start living the life you deserve!

so very true. I think the one that is often the most difficult is to truly let the past go and move on....
