Vitamin B3 Can Change How You Age?

The Connection Between Vitamin B3 and Aging

This is a sponsored post for ChromaDex.

As I approach fifty, I find I can’t take anything about my health for granted. This year I’ve been actively researching ways to feel better, live longer, and look good while I do both of those first two things. My doctor has recommended I take vitamin supplements in addition to eating a varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

One of the supplements I’ve been taking is a vitamin B3 supplement, TRU NIAGEN®. It contains a unique form of vitamin B3 that has been clinically-proven to increase your body’s levels of NAD, a biologically essential molecule that helps our bodies maintain our cellular energy levels, as well as manage our circadian rhythm. Pretty much the basics of feeling good every day.

After experiencing a variety of health issues over the past few years, I feel like I need to supplement my diet and pay extra attention to whatever can raise my energy levels.

Aging cells, aging you!

Health generally declines as we age due to our lifestyle. The metabolism of our cells slows down due to poor diet, drinking too much, not getting enough restful sleep, and more. All of these factors reduce the levels of NAD, a critical coenzyme in maintaining the health of your cells. This means NAD is crucial to healthy cellular function.

Kym Douglas is a beauty expert regularly seen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Doctors. After taking Tru Niagen regularly, Kym says:

“I found that I don’t have that fogginess. If I went to a dinner party the night before or been out a little late, or had some wine, the next morning when I wake up things are foggier than they used to be. When I take Tru Niagen I feel like I’m on my game again.”

What Kym finds most important about Tru Niagen is what it does for cells:

“I do a lot of talking about how to topically treat our skin. But when you think about it, it really is our cells that we need to keep at optimum level of performance.”

I take my Tru Niagen every morning with my midmorning tea and snack. I’m committed to testing it for three full months. Check back with me then to see my results!
