Very few fruits are as enjoyable to me as strawberries are. There’s something about the sweetness, the texture, the flavors – they’re like nature’s candy – they make me happy. In fact, as I started drafting this post I stopped to go grab a few. Just delicious. And so, since it’s strawberry season I decided to gather up a few favorite strawberry recipes to share with you all.
Let’s start with dessert! Helene has a delicious summer fruit tart that looks amazing. And very simple. Though there are three layers, it doesn’t seem that difficult at all. And it sounds really flavorful – with a vanilla pastry cream in the middle. Mmmmn.
And this no-bake skinny strawberry shortcake trifle from Nancy at SkinnyKitchen is the perfect skinny but sweet dessert. I’ve always been fascinated with trifles – this one is no exception. We’re big fans of Nancy’s recipes here at Midlife Boulevard.
And Susan’s strawberry pie makes me almost want to cry. Mostly because I want a slice of it right now. Don’t you?
Susan also has two strawberry recipes here on Midlife Boulevard – because one can never get enough of these delicious fruit. You can try the strawberry shortcake pinwheel or the strawberry cheesecake trifle. Strawberries and cheesecake? Sign me up!
Feel like adding strawberries to your greens? Recipe Renovator’s Strawberry and Asparagus Salad with Strawberry-Balsamic Vinaigrette is the perfect choice.
And if you’re looking for a different take on the trifle, we have a Red, White and Blue Trifle recipe here on the site that’s perfect for Memorial Day. Have a look …
Love strawberries in your breakfast but you’re tired of simply tossing them on your cereal or oatmeal? We’ve got ideas for you.
The Green Divas have a number of incredible berry-filled recipes for you in their Berries, Berries, Berries! post. The one I’m eyeing is the Special Berry Breakfast. It’s the first on the list.
And Caryn over at The Midlife Guru offers up a Strawberry, Coconut, Quinoa Breakfast Parfait. Head on over and have a look – it’s got chia, hemp and quinoa and is a perfect filling meal. I think I’ll be making this in the coming weeks.
This healthy smoothie recipe from the ladies of Fun and Fit looks like the perfect way to start your day.
And this Strawberry Kiwi Cucumber Water that Eleanor shares looks like it would be perfect for sitting on the porch enjoying a cool breeze.
But if you’re looking for a heartier breakfast Nancy has a Strawberries and Cream Stuffed French Toast that you absolutely need in your life.
So – there you have it. Incredibly delicious looking strawberry recipes for you to enjoy. Do you have a favorite that I didn’t include? Let me know what it is by commenting below, and feel free to drop in a link if you’ve shared it on your own blog!

Hey Andrea, Definitely, one of my favourite fruits! So thanks a lot for the article. The Strawberry Kiwi Cucumber Water is something I would try. At first, it does look strange for me at least, but still.. Regards, Valerie

We are really looking forward to strawberry season this year. My husband likes to make his own strawberry preserves, and I have a new farmer friend that I want my husband to meet, here in Middle TN, who grows his own. So we're planning a trip out to Batey Farms!
