Skinny Ranch Dressing Recipe
Want to eat better this year and lose weight? This is an easy Ranch dressing recipe with the Weight Watchers points already calculated for you! A great recipe for ranch dip perfect for football snacks, too.
I’m so excited to share this three-ingredient Ranch dressing recipe! Your search is over. This is the most amazing, easy to make, skinny ranch dressing!
It tastes just as good as any high fat dressing but with a fraction of the fat and calories.
In the past, I’ve shared my Skinny ranch dressing recipe but it called for many dry ingredients. In addition, you needed xanthan gum to thicken it.
Now, I went back in the kitchen and created a new, easier and much skinnier Weight Watcher recipe.

Weight Watchers Ranch Dressing
Food Facts
The original ranch dressing was created in the 1950’s by Steve and Gayle Henson at their dude ranch near Santa Barbara, California. It was called the Hidden Valley Guest Ranch. Today ranch dressing dominates the dressing isle of the supermarket.
Buttermilk, in the old days, was the liquid left over after butter was churned. Today it’s nonfat or reduced-fat milk that’s treated with special bacteria which causes the milk to thicken and gain a tangy flavor.
Healthy Benefit
This dressing contains a lot of buttermilk, which, despite its name, contains very little fat. It is loaded with bone-building calcium and contains vitamin-B. Vitamin B facilitates nerve function and promotes healthy skin and good vision. Buttermilk, even if the container doesn’t say it, is low fat.
Shopping Tip
Best Foods Light Mayonnaise (Hellmann’s) is the only brand I recommend. I’ve tried several different brands and Best Foods Mayonnaise tastes best for this recipe! Best Foods Canola Mayonnaise also taste great for this recipe.

I made it the 1st time and it was perfect. The next two times, it's super runny/not thick at all (unlike the 1st time). I can't remember what kind of buttermilk I used the first time...but I'm curious is using low fat buttermilk (which is what I had in the fridge the last 2 times) causing this issue?
Thanks Barbara

Hi Barbara! I'm not Nancy, but I would either cut back on the milk or add more mayo. Weird how it's different now! It very well might be the low-fat milk.
