Bladder control issues are not funny. Even if you’re with friends and laughing really hard, the results can kill the moment. Riding on a roller coaster with your family should be pure fun–no worrying about leaking or finding a bathroom.
Managing incontinence issues might be an issue to discuss with your doctor–she might have a medical solution for your problem. If there’s nothing medically necessary to treat, managing your bladder control issues is possible.
Tips for Managing Incontinence
First of all, think ahead. Go at early, and empty your bladder completely. This can also help prevent bladder infections.
Stay hydrated. You might think about drinking less so you’ll go less, but drinking enough water is very important for every aspect of your health.
Reduce or eliminate caffeine. This would be really hard for me, but the results may make it work forgoing that second cup of coffee, or switching to caffeine-free soda.
Check your prescriptions. Ask your doctor if something you’ve been prescribed is a diuretic. As long as you are taking that prescription, know you’ll have to plan ahead for when it kicks in.
