January 17th is First Lady’s Michelle Obama’s fiftieth birthday.  We’re excited to let you know Sharon Greenthal, our editor-in-chief, was interviewed by CNN reporter Kelly Wallace.  Kelly’s article covers the changes in contemporary attitudes toward turning fifty.

Sharon wrote a popular blog post on the Huffington Post in 2012, with a unique take on all the positive points of hitting the big five-oh. Sharon says fifty’s not the new forty. It’s fifty. Accept it and all the great stuff that goes along with it.

Here at Midlife Boulevard, we positively embrace the changes in our lives that happen in these middle years. This is the time for amazing change, growth, creativity, and true self-discovery. All best wishes for the First Lady as she enters an amazing new decade!
