Key Moments at the Bloggers At Midlife Conference

Takeaways from BAM, Bloggers at Midlife ConferenceIf you were in Las Vegas a few weekends ago you’re going to recognize many of the names I’m sharing below. Our incredible attendees have shared their Bloggers at Midlife (BAM) Conference experiences and I’ve compiled them here all in one place for you to enjoy.

So, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and start reading.

Head on over to Midlife-A-G-Go to see Valerie’s recap. She’s got all the speakers and sponsors included, along with a personal touch of how the conference made her feel.

The important takeaway of knowing that her best days are ahead of her is one that struck a chord for Donna over at My Life From The Bleachers.

Carol speaks freely about the tribe she’s established by connecting with people online. Meeting them face-to-face was a wonderful experience for her.

And Terri opens up by sharing a very personal story, prompted by one of our incredible panel sessions about crafting a personal essay. Terri, we’re so sorry for the loss of your sweet puppy. Thank you for sharing.

Eleanor captured so much of the event on Twitter, that her post is a perfect recap of her interactions with several of the sponsors of the event. Personally, I loved connecting with her through social media while in the same room (funny how that works!), and have made a new virtual friend.

This recap by Julie of Word Storm Casserole is phenomenal. If you don’t have a minute to read her post please just click on over and take a look at the image she shares where she touches on the words of wisdom she took away from the weekend. You can use that as your go-to if you need important reminders.

Sheila’s post over at Making The Most of Every Day is fantastic. Her takeaways will benefit you – even if you didn’t get to attend – actually, maybe even more if you weren’t there. Her candid writing style reflects how she presents herself and I am so happy that I got a chance to meet her.

Honestly, friends? I could keep going. And so I give you some time to connect with these lovely ladies I’ve introduced you to above, I’m going to do a second installment of recaps later in the week – or possibly next week – it’s Wednesday already!

I hope you enjoy what everyone has to say and that you’ll consider connecting with us on Facebook at our Women of Midlife group – specifically for women bloggers at midlife who would like to connect with other women in the same industry. We’d love to see you there!

I've just about finished mine, Andrea. Sent you some pics via messaging. This wonderful recap on our BAM Conference ensures we haven't missed anyone! Thank you! I hope I've written something different; a useful perspective. All that I felt, learned and enjoyed was written within days of BAM! I don't want to appear competing or copying anyone so I've been reluctant and careful. I'm just a grateful, inspired writer! I'm so glad we had the chance to meet and talk a bit!
