BLOGS AND CAN’T MISS ARTICLES

The sad, horrific truth is that racism is still an enormous problem in our country.

A visual series of onomatopoeia.

A share of Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway stock  now costs as much as some homes.

Cathy Chester, Midlife Boulevard contributor, writes about her experience with depression.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND TECH

Because Sharon recently left her laptop behind at the Los Angeles airport TSA checkpoint, this article about how to recover your electronics when you leave them as security seems particularly timely (She got it back, but the way, thanks to the LAPD and TSA).

BEAUTY, FASHION AND HOME

This is so darn cute you’ll want to have a barbecue just so you can make one.

Forget knitting. For beautiful creations with yarn, this is incredible.

Could you live without shampoo?

Very cool interior design hacks.

This Lodis “Audrey” zipper pocket card case is great for holding all of those extra cards you may not want to take with you everywhere you go. Keep it in your glove compartment for last-minute stops.

ENTERTAINMENT

What could make the sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel even better than the first? How about Richard Gere?

As we all continue to mourn the tragic death of the brilliant Robin Williams, this article in the New York Times is one that touched us and reminded us of all he has brought to our lives.

Photo of the week. Thank you for the laughter, the beloved characters, the generosity, the kindness. We hope you’ve found peace at last, Robin.robin-williams-mork
