This is the Year of Anne. I’m determined to take better care of myself this year. I’m starting a new exercise program, I just went to the doctor for a long-overdue physical, and I’m in physical therapy twice a week for a shoulder injury I’d been just accepting as normal for six months.

Sure, that’s a lot all at once, but I’m focusing the most on small habit changes to make my life happy and orderly. With kids still at home, I still need a routine that helps me get done all I need to do for my family, my business, and my own well-being.

One step that makes me feel good about taking care of me is a daily multivitamin. I talked to my doctor and he said taking a daily multivitamin is right for me. I struggle with getting enough Vitamin D, since I don’t drink much cow’s milk and I avoid the sun like I’m in an 80’s Goth band.

I like trying new products, so I was excited to be among the first to try new Centrum® VitaMints®. It’s a new multivitamin for adults that gives me all the essential nutrients I might be missing, in the form of a cool, minty chewable.

The Centrum® VitaMints® are unique since you enjoy them like a mint. I keep them on my desk and take two after my morning cup of coffee as I start my workday. They can be taken without food or water, so they are very convenient. I like the taste and the texture. Also, Centrum® is a name I trust.

I’m happy to find a complete chewable multivitamin that contains all the key ingredients I need, like Vitamins B, C, and E, and the D I have to work to get enough of. I eat lots of different fresh foods, but I still take a vitamin supplement to help fill in any nutritional gaps and support my energy, immunity, and metabolism*.

Also, talk to your doctor about if a multivitamin is right for you. Multivitamins are recognized as one way to fill those nutritional gaps you may have in your diet. Nine out of ten Americans fall short in getting essential nutrients from diet alone. For me, like I said, it’s Vitamin D. This month a blood test showed me that the D levels in my blood were below normal again, though not nearly as bad as they had been last year.

I was surprised that despite what I think is a pretty good diet, I had gaps in my nutrition. Now I’m using this Year of Anne to focus on eating even better, and on making sure to follow my morning routine that includes stretching exercises, quiet time to organize my day, and my Centrum® VitaMints®. Since they are right there by my computer, it will be hard to forget!
