What’s a BedJet?

If you want to get detailed, a BedJet is a “forced air cooling, heating, and climate comfort system designed just for your bed at home.” The small unit slides under the foot of your bed and a small hose a lot like a dryer vent hose neatly fits under your top sheet. (If you have a platform bed, or some other low frame, there are other ways to tuck the unit away safely.)

BedJet sent me a unit and some accessories for the purposes of this review, and also will provide a unit to one winner from a giveaway (enter below.) No other compensation was provided and I am not required to have any certain opinion about the product.

How Does a BedJet Work

You can set the BedJet to blow heated air to warm the bed (a little or a lot!) or room-temperature air to cool you off like a little personal fan. You can watch their short video below to see a quick example of how it works.

I’ve been testing out my BedJet for almost a month now, so I’ve been using it through the hot end of summer and into the first few cool weeks of fall. It’s lovely to pop into bed at night with sheets that feel like they just came out of the dryer.

I have what my husband affectionately calls “zombie feet”. They aren’t grey, just sub-room temperature. Now I can warm them up at night on something other than his toasty warm feet.

Also, before I couldn’t fall asleep until my feet warmed up. That took a whole routine with a warm shower and fluffy socks. Even then, some nights I didn’t warm up for almost an hour.

The BedJet is controlled via a remote control or their app you can install on your phone. While the app has more functionality, I mostly use the remote control because it’s right there on my nightstand and easy to use.
