If you’re like me – this time of the year is when you’re on the search for some delicious recipes for holiday cookies. I thought I’d help you out and gather a small handful right here for you. Happy baking!
Eight Holiday Cookies You Need To Try This Season
These cherry pie cookies from Michelle at Honest and Truly look delicious. There’s no doubt in my mind that anyone on the receiving end of these sweet treats would be thrilled.
Andes Creme de Menthe Thins Cookies are a favorite around the holidays. And this recipe using the chocolate as frosting? Brilliant from Six Sisters Stuff. I have made these many a holiday season and everyone loves them.
I have to admit, every year I say I’m going to try to make these Peppermint Candy Cane Cookies. And every year I do not. But maybe this year will be the year? I’m saving this recipe from No. 2 Pencil in case it is!
Susan of That Susan Williams is one of our columnists here at Midlife Boulevard. She also shares some incredible recipes on her own site. These Curry Coriander Shortbread Cookies will definitely deviate from your holiday norm.
Mandee over at The Kitchen Wife has these adorable Corn Flake Wreath Cookies – they take a few steps to get them done, but they’re only a few ingredients and they look so festive!
These Holiday Saltine Toffee Treats are super simple and delicious, if I do say so myself. I can vouch for them, as it’s my own recipe – you can find here, and on my site, Good Girl Gone Redneck.
Another cookie staple in my house over the holidays is a batch of these Snowball Cookies from Liz of Eat Move Make. I tend to leave out the nuts, though. Personal preference.
And though I haven’t tried them yet, Jam Hands has a recipe for Cherry Snowball Cookies that might be added to my baking schedule this year. Just go over and have a LOOK at them. They look amazing.
And if these aren’t enough, you can check out the list of Twelve Holiday Cookie Recipes I pulled together for you in 2016!
