10 Items On My Christmas Gift Wish List

I acknowledge that my family goes overboard with Christmas…we all love it!  This is actually the time of year, when they ask me for a list of what I would want to see under the tree.  No one in the family really likes gift cards, but prefer to see actual gifts which will please the recipient when pretty paper is ripped from the box.

A couple of readers asked me to write about what I wanted for Christmas.  This is a great time to pull up a chair in the Joy Boutique corner and discuss what is on our list…are you listening family?  Links will be sent!  Here are my top ten favorites!

Out of all the designers, I really like Michael Kors and would love to own one of his handbags.  I like the quality, design, and shape of the bags.  They easily hold everything I need to carry as a career woman (especially for professional blogging) and they look great.  I request the LUGGAGE color, but would also enjoy BLACK.

Turning an eye toward spring, I see PINK as a favorite again this year and I would welcome the Michael Kors flats in this gorgeous pink color. I could do so many great neutral and denim looks with a pop of pink at my feet.  These fun leather flats come in a variety of great colors…but pink has my eye.

Of course, I want to continue working with my strength trainer and I could really use an update on the clothes. Since I go to the gym at least five times a week, it would help to have some additional clothing so I am not pressured by laundry as much.  I wear the capris pants most often…down here in South Texas, the longer ones are too hot for workouts.

With new confidence, I am wearing sleeveless tops for workouts, so I need more than one!

I also work out at home occasionally and would like some more equipment. I usually swing the kettle bell at the gym and this is something I could easily do at home….so I would love to see one with a red bow on top.

A stability ball is something I would like to try for my core. I hear to use it as a chair helps posture and strength.  I respect the people telling me this, so let’s give it a go.

I love Bobbi Brown makeup and I am low on some of my favorites! The concealer is just the best…goodbye to under eye circles!

I really like the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara since I wear glasses all of the time. It gives me the enriched color I desire to pop from underneath.

Last year my husband gave me Chanel No. 5 perfume, and this year I would like to mix things up with this Yves Saint Laurent scent, Paris…it is light and intoxicating.

The final item would be another style book I would like to read, Lessons from Madame Chic by Jennifer Scott. I have learned so much from reading books about style and fashion, particularly about Paris style. This looks like one I would thoroughly enjoy!

Well that’s my list!  What’s on yours??  Now, I have to go sneak this into several emails….

Have a great December week, everyone!  Will see you next week in The Joy Boutique.

I love that you shared about the new confidence you have to wear sleeveless tops to exercise in! I'd be careful swinging that kettle bell at home, I knew of someone who swung it right into the flat screen TV!! :-/

I'm one of the gift card lovers! I would love a gift card to my favorite store so I could go pick out some of my favorite things at the after-Christmas sales!

Something that is always a winner with me is a decorating or gardening book. While I do have a Kindle, there is something about holding and looking through an actual book. And I just can't see the point of a decorating book on my Kindle anyway - I need the bigger pictures for inspiration! I just love books!

I'd take those Michael Kors beauties in a heartbeat. Speaking of heartbeat, I have several get fit items on my wishlist as well. Including walking weights and new toning bands.

That handbag will last forever especially in the luggage color. I hope you get it!

Forget peace on Earth and an end to world hunger! I want bling for Christmas but I always want bling for Christmas!
